What GAMORA from Marvel’s #guardiansofthegalaxy almost looked liked (part 3)😜 #bts – In early stages, it can be more helpful to a project to hone in on the tone and feel of a project rather than on specifics of design. I would keep these kind of images loose and quick because they aren’t keyframe images of specific shots in the movie yet. These were to serve as inspiration images and help propel my conversations with the producers and directors. ________________________________________ #Gamora #earlystages #inspirational #picoftheday #marvel #conversation #ConceptArt #MarvelConceptArt #guardiansofthegalaxy #zoesaldana #GamoraConceptArt #rocketraccoon #Guardiansofthegalaxyconceptart #thanos #MarvelStudios #MarvelComics #MarvelArt #Comicbooks #Disney #Infinitywar #Avengers #avengers4 #AvengersInfinityWar #thanos #marvelcinematicuniverse #themcu #leaddesigner

Super early #guardiansofthegalaxy Gamora concept I created posted by Looper first 😱 More images on their link! #Repost @looperhq with @get_repost ・・・ This is what Gamora almost looked liked in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies! We spoke with @imcharliewen (Marvel Studios x-Head of Visual Development and co-Creator of KRATOS from God of War) to discuss how he created Gamora. Wen told us, "This was a design that Kevin Feige was very interested in for Gamora. But it was ultimately more difficult to pull off the intricate tech on her face than it was worth." Hit the link in our bio to view more of these exciting Gamora images, including never-before-seen concept art! __________________________________________ #Gamora #ConceptArt #MarvelConceptArt #guardiansofthegalaxy #guardiansofthegalaxyvol2 #zoesaldana #GamoraConceptArt #Guardiansofthegalaxyconceptart #thanos #MarvelStudios #MarvelComics #MarvelArt #Comicbooks #Disney #Infinitywar #Avengers #avengers4 #AvengersInfinityWar #thanos #marvelcinematicuniverse #TheMCU

What GAMORA from Marvel’s #guardiansofthegalaxy ALMOST looked like (part 2) I played with a modified cloak design mixed with compartmentalized leggings held by simple practical banding. This was to give the feel of an assassin with a mix of the practical and the flashy. In some of these early concepts of Gamora, like Rocket, my responsibility was to create a new design realm for the MCU through designing the characters and key moments, so a lot of my focus was primarily on setting tone and feel for the Guardians series. I ramped up the saturation of colors quite a bit for this film. James (Gunn) and I had been talking about having a colorful space epic. In the beginning, he was very interested in Chris Foss’ space paintings. I reached out to Mr. Foss to see if he would be interested in doing some ship work for us. His colorful ship designs had an enormous impact on the bold colorful graphics on GOTG ships. It may not be apparent, but his work influences the original Star Wars films decades ago. Check out his influential work online! * * * * * * ________________________________________ #Gamora #ConceptArt #MarvelConceptArt #guardiansofthegalaxy #guardiansofthegalaxyvol2 #zoesaldana #GamoraConceptArt #Guardiansofthegalaxyconceptart #thanos #MarvelStudios #MarvelComics #MarvelArt #Comicbooks #Disney #Infinitywar #Avengers #avengers4 #picoftheday #AvengersInfinityWar #thanos #marvelcinematicuniverse #TheMCU
