Destacan juegos como Shadow of Mordor, Monument Valley y Alien: Isolation en varias categorías.
La British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) se encarga de promover y desarrollar de manera independiente todas las formas del arte visual, como el cine, la televisión y el mundo de los videojuegos. En total, son unos 6,500 miembros los que forman parte de la academia.
A su vez, BAFTA galardona cada año a las piezas que más destacaron a través de eventos especializados en cada categoría. En esta ocasión ha dado a conocer cuáles son los videojuegos que merecen ser apremiados en la gala de la entrega de premios, que se llevará a cabo el próximo 12 de marzo en la ciudad de Londres. En total hay 51 juegos nominados divididos en 17 categorías.
