La revista Time publicó su lista de los más importantes usuarios de Twitter agrupados en 15 categorías.
Como ha venido haciendo en años anteriores, la revista Time ha publicado su lista referente a los 140 mejores feeds de Twitter del año que esta por terminar. Como era de esperarse, los lugares del conteo están acaparados por usuarios estadounidenses de la red social del pájaro azul.
A partir de esta lista es posible que usted decida seguir a varios de los incluidos de acuerdo con los intereses particulares que se tengan. Las categorías en las que se agrupan a los Twitstars son tan variadas como las referentes a críticos culturales, comida o activistas, además incluyen un apartado dedicado a la tecnología y otro a la ciencia.
En el segmento dedicado a la ciencia destacan los tuits de Brian Cox (Físico y presentador de documentales de la BBC) y Richard Dawkins (el autor de El gen egoísta, famoso libro donde se acuñó el termino meme). Así mismo, en el referente a las cuestiones tecnológicas sobresalen los mensajes de 140 caracteres de Emily Bell (Directora del Centro de Periodismo Digital de la Universidad de Columbia), y Drones (la cuenta de Twitter especializada en noticias referentes a los populares vehículos aéreos no tripulados).
